OraGrid works because people here are serious, kind and honest. These rules apply everywhere in the app: profiles, introduction rooms, couple rooms, voice and video, and anything you send to Ora that is later shared.
1. Be respectful
Treat everyone as you would want to be treated. You can say no, end a conversation, or decide not to continue with someone, and you should accept the same from others, without anger or guilt.
- Be polite, even when you disagree.
- Respect cultures, families and beliefs that are different from yours.
- Reply honestly or close the conversation kindly; do not disappear without a word if you can avoid it.
2. Be honest
- Use your own name, age, photos and details. No fake profiles, no impersonation, no photos of other people.
- Say truthfully what you are looking for: marriage, a serious relationship, or exploring compatibility.
- One account per person. Do not create a new account to avoid a ban or a past decision.
- Do not claim to be married or committed elsewhere if you are.
3. No money requests or scams
Never ask anyone for money, gifts, gift cards, cryptocurrency, bank details or loans, and never send them. Do not promote products, services, investments or other apps. If someone asks you for money, report them straight away.
4. No harassment, pressure or threats
- No insults, bullying, stalking, intimidation or threats, including threats to share private information or images.
- No pressure to move fast, to meet, to share photos, or to share personal details someone is not ready to share.
- Do not keep contacting someone who has ended the conversation or blocked you, on or off OraGrid.
5. No sexual or violent content
OraGrid is for building serious, respectful relationships. Do not send or post nudity, sexually explicit messages or images, sexual solicitation, graphic violence, or content that glorifies harming people or animals.
6. No hate
No content that attacks or demeans people because of their religion, ethnicity, nationality, tribe, sect, gender, disability or health, or any similar characteristic. You may state your own preferences and values for a relationship respectfully; you may not insult others for theirs.
7. Respect other people’s privacy
What people share with you in OraGrid is meant for you. Do not screenshot and share it, forward it, post it, or use it against them. Do not share someone’s photos, voice, name or details outside OraGrid without their permission. Do not try to find out where someone lives or works if they have not told you.
8. Use Ora in good faith
Ora is there to help you. Do not try to trick Ora into breaking its safeguards, to produce harmful content, or to impersonate someone. If you are struggling, please tell Ora; if you are in danger, contact emergency services (see Safety).
9. How we enforce these rules
Our moderators review reports and use automated screening for abuse and self-harm. Depending on how serious the behaviour is and whether it has happened before, we may:
- Warn you and remove the content.
- Suspend your account for a period.
- Ban your account permanently.
Serious violations, such as threats, scams, sexual content involving minors, or anything illegal, may lead straight to a ban and, where the law requires, a report to the authorities.
10. Reporting
If something is wrong, tap Report on a profile or message, or block the person. We review reports within 24 hours. You do not need to be sure; if something feels wrong, tell us. We do not tell the other person that you reported them.
11. Appeals
If you think we made a mistake, email support@oragrid.com from the address on your account, tell us what happened, and a different moderator will look at it again. We will tell you the result.
