These Terms are the agreement between you and OraGrid. Please read them. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use OraGrid.
1. About OraGrid and these Terms
OraGrid is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME — complete before launch], a company of GreenHills Tech, registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS — complete before launch] (“OraGrid”, “we”, “us”). These Terms cover the OraGrid app and website. Our Privacy Policy and Community Rules are part of this agreement.
2. Who can use OraGrid
To use OraGrid you must:
- be at least 18 years old, and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement;
- be looking for a genuine relationship (marriage, a serious relationship, or to explore compatibility), or want to connect with your existing partner;
- not have been removed from OraGrid before, and not be prohibited from using it by law;
- give us accurate information, and keep it up to date.
3. Your account
You sign in with Apple, with Google, or with a one-time code sent to your email. One person may have one account. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so please keep your device and email secure and tell us at once if you think someone else has access. We may ask you to verify your identity with a short video reviewed by a human moderator.
4. Ora is an AI assistant
Ora is an artificial-intelligence assistant. Ora is not a therapist, counsellor, doctor, religious authority or legal adviser, and what Ora says is not professional advice. Ora can be wrong. OraGrid is not a substitute for professional help, and Ora cannot handle emergencies.
- If you are in danger or thinking of harming yourself, contact local emergency services or someone you trust right away. See our Safety page.
- For relationship counselling, legal, medical or religious questions, please speak to a qualified person.
- Before you chat with Ora we ask for your explicit consent to process your messages with our AI provider, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
5. How introductions and rooms work
After an interview with Ora, we introduce you to one suitable person at a time. If you both say yes, you get a 14-day private introduction room with a light plan. At the end, you each decide privately whether to stay together, extend for 7 days (Plus), or end. If you do not both agree, the connection closes for good. Couples can also invite a partner into a shared room where Ora helps you talk, with your approval before anything is shared.
No guarantee. We do not promise that you will meet someone, that an introduction will lead to a relationship, or that anyone’s information, intentions or behaviour is as they describe. Introductions are suggestions, not endorsements.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to follow our Community Rules. In particular, you will not:
- create a fake profile, impersonate anyone, or use another person’s photos;
- harass, threaten, pressure or abuse anyone, or share sexual, violent or hateful content;
- ask for or send money, or use OraGrid for scams, commercial solicitation or promotion;
- share another person’s private information or messages without their permission;
- try to break, reverse-engineer or overload the service, scrape it, or manipulate Ora to bypass safeguards;
- use OraGrid for anything unlawful.
7. Your content
You own what you create and share on OraGrid (your profile, photos, voice, messages). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process, display and transmit that content only as needed to run and protect the service, for example to show your profile to people you are introduced to, to let Ora reply, and to let moderators review reports. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the retention periods in the Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the right to share what you upload and that it follows these Terms.
8. Meeting people in person
We verify profiles with a human check and review reports, but we do not run criminal background checks and we cannot control what people do off the app. You are responsible for your own safety when you meet someone. Please read our Safety tips: meet in a public place, tell a friend, and leave whenever you want.
9. Subscriptions and purchases
OraGrid is free to start. OraGrid Plus (monthly or yearly, and a couple plan) unlocks more, such as extending an introduction room by 7 days. The price and length of each plan are shown in the app before you buy. Purchases are made through Apple In-App Purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price shown in the app.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device’s Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- The 7-day free trial, if offered, converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases ourselves.
10. Apple-specific terms
These Terms are between you and OraGrid only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, maintenance or support, and has no warranty obligation to you for it. Apple is not responsible for claims about the app, including product liability, legal-compliance and intellectual-property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You must also follow the usage rules of the Apple Media Services Terms.
11. Suspension, termination and appeals
You can stop using OraGrid and delete your account at any time (Me → Account → Delete account). We may warn, restrict, suspend or remove an account that breaks these Terms or the Community Rules, or that puts others at risk. We may act at once for serious violations. If we take action on your account, we will tell you why where we can. You can appeal by emailing support@oragrid.com and a person who was not involved in the first decision will review it.
12. Our intellectual property
OraGrid, the logo, Ora, the app and the website, and everything we create are owned by us or our licensors. We give you a personal, limited, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. Please do not copy or resell any part of it.
13. Disclaimers
OraGrid is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that Ora’s answers are accurate, or that you will find a match. We are not responsible for the actions, statements or information of other users.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, OraGrid and its owners, employees and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of data, income or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or the minimum the law allows. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by [GOVERNING LAW AND COURTS — complete before launch]. This does not remove any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live. Please contact us first at support@oragrid.com; most problems can be solved without a dispute.
16. Changes to the service and to these Terms
We may update OraGrid and these Terms. If a change is material, we will tell you in the app before it applies. If you keep using OraGrid after that, you accept the new Terms; if not, you can delete your account.
