Delete your account
You can delete your OraGrid account at any time. It takes a minute, and you don’t need to contact us.
In the app (fastest)
- Open OraGrid and go to the Me tab.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
You will be signed out and your account closes immediately.
Can’t open the app? Email us
Send a message to support@oragrid.com from the email address you use to sign in to OraGrid. We use it to confirm the account is yours.
- Write “Delete my account” in the subject line.
- Tell us if you signed in with Apple, Google or an email code.
- We’ll reply to confirm, and then delete the account.
What happens when you delete
- Your profile, photos, voice introduction, conversations with Ora and Ora’s memories are erased from our live systems within 24 hours.
- Backups are cleared on a rolling schedule, within 30 days at most.
- Messages in introduction rooms are purged 30 days after the room closes. People you were connected with will no longer see your profile.
- Verification videos are deleted within 30 days of the decision, and reports and moderation records are kept for 12 months, so we can keep the community safe.
- This cannot be undone. If you come back later, you start fresh.
Before you delete
- Want a copy of your data? Open Me → Privacy center → Download my data first.
- Only want to clean up? You can delete individual memories in the Privacy center without deleting your account.
Subscriptions are separate
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone first, so you are not charged again.
